To cultivate, in our employees and in ourselves, the utmost in ethical and professional behavior, as well as continued personal and professional development.

History

The Company was founded in 1993 by Bill Wadlin, PH.D., MBA, a technical manager with broad experience in laboratory management, analytical research, operations management, business development and total quality management. Bill started First Analytical after creating and managing two other laboratories in the RTP area. He also brought to First Analytical a sound background in statistics and Quality Assurance, having served as QA manager at GE for several years and as an Examiner on the North Carolina Quality Leadership Committee.

Over the years, First Analytical has developed a reputation for quality, affordable results as well as a willingness to work with clients to develop creative solutions to their metals analysis problems.

In 2009, Bill sold his interest in the lab and stepped down from its day-to-day management. He continues to serve, however, as a consultant and as a member of the Company’s technical advisory board. Today, First Analytical continues to work to expand the list of services and benefits it can offer to its clients.
